Here our temporary scene:
One curled leaf keeps watchful guard
above its guest - a chrysalis.
That one who worked to measure all surfaces
Has careful changed within her shell.
'Til brittle edges can caress the open breeze.
From such example let us speak;
And let mortality's iron-hearted magnet so repel
Until a race runs holy backward,
Tumbling on toward happy youth
And newborn for each passing moment.
So be not weighed by brittle past
But be borne up by the turning leaves;
The wind receives you -
Leap out! Leap out to happy time!
